In recent years we have been diversifying our products. For three years now, we have produced pure Vermont maple syrup and honey, both of which make excellent gifts, and you can find for sale in our Christmas shop when you pick up your tree and wreath. Our sap is collected just down the road on East Munger Street, and it is boiled down into syrup in our newly built sugar house next to the Christmas shop. Our syrup comes in durable plastic judges in a variety of sizes. Easy pour jugs comes with tamper-evident inner seals. Our bee hives are located right on the northern edge of our tree fields. A bee hive like one of ours houses between 40,000 and 80,000 bees who will travel up to two miles from home in search of flowers (think about how far that is if you're the size of a bee). Our bees seem to like Dandelions, Goldenrod, Asters, Crab Apple blossoms and Clover in particular. |
